I saw Benini Movers ad on Craigslist . They just moved me on the 28th, and they were very good. It was basically me, my partner, four cats, two dozen plants, probably around 100 boxes and a bunch of furniture. They loaded and unloaded everything very quickly, and were generally very nice guys. I called pretty much every moving company in the Yellow Pages, and Benini’s price was great. They were very accommodating as far as when they needed to get to our apartment (we had some problems with the landlord locking up the elevator and all that), and didn’t chip a single piece of furniture or scratch a single wall. Anyway, I gave them a glowing testimonial for their website, and I’ve already recommended them to another friend of mine who is planning on moving in Spring. I’ve moved around a lot in my life, and I’ve had less than pleasant experiences with movers before, but these guys were a very pleasant surprise. They were even nice to our cats, who were trying to be as bitchy and impossible as they could possibly be!

Due to the excellent job Benini Moving did when we moved within Toronto, we called them up to see if they would be willing to pack a truck for my husband and I as we were moving from Ontario to the Maritimes. Not only were they able to accommodate, they completed the loading in the most efficient manner possible and in a very short period of time. We were convinced that we got a truck that was too small, but Benini Moving made it happen. They got every last piece of furniture into the moving truck. They secured it so well that when we arrived at our destination not one item had shifted out of place and all items were safe and sound. I would recommend Benini Moving to anyone and everyone. We hired Benini Moving based on a referral from a colleague. And we are happy that we did. We are very demanding customers and have very high expectations for the services we receive. My husband and I had just had our home professionally painted and brand new carpet installed when we sold our home. We wanted to ensure that it was left in immaculate condition for the new owners. We mentioned this to Benini Moving and they advised this would not be a problem. Little did we know that on the date of our move it would be raining and, of course, where there is rain there is dirt! Benini Moving took great care to lay down protection on the carpet and there was not one speck of dirt when the move was complete. We also did not want the walls to be damaged and we knew with our 3 flights of narrow staircase that great care would need to be taken. By the end of the move, there was not one mark on any of the newly painted walls. Benini Moving met the tight deadline required to move out of our old home and into our new home meeting all of our high expectations with excellent service. We highly recommend Benini Moving!

Just wanted to mention that I recently used Benini Moving (http://www.beninimoving.com/) and they were fantastic. I had a lot of reservations about using a moving company as I have heard many horror stories.
Angelo (the owner) was amazing. Very upfrount with the costs and offered tips. They allow you to use their garmet boxes. They showed up on time with 3 guys, a clean truck, and they work very well together. Our move cost less than most companies quoted. they even shoveled snow for us!!!!
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good, less expensive option for moving!
These are my belated but heartfelt thanks to Angelo and his staff for their exceptional work moving us. They were fast, extra careful, and had a great attitude. This is by far the best experience I have had with contractors in my life.
We talked to several moving companies and received detailed quotes from two of them: Tippet Richardson and Angelo Benini. Angelo offered us a very reasonable price. More importantly, he assured us that all of our furniture can be moved without problems. Unlike him, Tippet Richardson’s staff included mandatory insurance in their quote but told us that our large bookcases were not likely to survive the move and they did not guarantee the condition, in which our modular furniture will arrive. We discussed the floor and walls in the new place – we have just had them changed. Angelo told us not to worry about scratches.
He was right. On the day of the move, Angelo and his staff arrived just on time, even a few minutes earlier. Although we had not asked about this, he brought a few rolls of tape and empty boxes - a good contingency planning, as it turned out we needed additional boxes. They wrapped every piece of furniture in blankets. In the new place, more blankets went on the floor. Our furniture, even the large bookcases that Tippet Richardson’s people had written off, arrived without a single chip or a scratch. There were no damages whatsoever on our new flooring and freshly painted walls. Throughout the day, Angelo and his staff worked all day efficiently and quickly, yet with utmost care and precision. Their professionalism is very much appreciated. Thank you, guys, you were wonderful! We are recommending them to all my friends and if we ever need to move again, we know where to call.

I was faced with a relatively short-notice move and had just finished reading of moving company horror stories and scams in GTA. First stop: the Better Business Bureau website where I discovered Angelo\\\'s company. Testimonials on his site gave me some level of comfort, but it was my first impressions of Angelo that made me feel he was the right choice. I was a little concerned that the quote template on the site would be inaccurate so I called him - he asked me to fill it in anyway, and said he would have a quote to me within a day. It arrived under two hours later! But then, based upon info I had provided, he called and recommended he come by to see for himself \\\"to avoid surprises\\\" on moving day. This was obviously a customer-oriented guy. You can see from the photo that this guy knows how to pack a truck, so be sure to show everything you intend to move. Come moving day I had somewhat more than he had planned and he couldn\\\'t squeeze in the truck...and it was completely my fault. Still, it BLEW me away when he offered to come back the next day with another guy to move the bits and pieces for the cost of gas! And this was at least a 130 km round trip and probably a four-hour commitment. I could talk much more about his constant communication, his promptness, accurate quote etc etc etc. Angelo is honest, personable, diligent and cares deeply about his customers. Now I understand why so many testimonials refer to Angelo by name - he is his company. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for a smooth move! Thanks Angelo, you restore my faith in ethical business.
